Dan3345
I am creating a home for myself in goodsprings and I don't know how to rotate the actual building so its facing a direction of my choosing. Any help? I know about the X,Y,Z axis things and holding space to pan, and shift to rotate the camera but how do I actually rotate the object around? Right click on the house and drag to rotate it.
Dan3345
Ok so I figured that out but now the problem I am having is the spawner that takes you between the two cells is facing the wrong direction. So when you enter or leave the home you are facing left and not forward. Double clicking it only brings up an option to switch to the exterior part of the cell. Make sure it's selected, then click on it (don't release the button) and drag it.
Dan3345
I know.... The problem is the object has an arrow which indicates which way the npc/player will face when entering the cell and it is not facing the right direction and I need to rotate to face the proper direction. Simply dragging it around will not rotate it to face the right direction.

Dan3345
I'm not trying to sound rude but that is still not what I am trying to do. I know you can click and drag, I know you can double click and get more precise controls, I know you can use X,Y,Z axis by holding down those keys, the problem is the spawner is facing the wrong direction and I am incapable of turning to face the proper direction.. I am sorry if this is due to my poor writing spells, I don't know how to explain this any clearer :( Edited August 28, 2011 by Dan3345
Glenstorm
That's odd. I do it this way normally and it works pretty much all the time. BTW, The spawner is the yellow thing right next to doors right? If it is, you can't double click to open the spawner's properties, it would just show up an option to teleport to the linked door. The only way I have found to rotate it is to use the right click drag method. Funny that it doesn't work for you.
avianrave
you have to exit the door reference window before you can move that yellow thing.
