Desktop crash after 10min

Halla folkens! as we say in Norway.

 

Having a problem with a desktop crash after approx 10 minutes every time I start the game. A bit annoying. I have not been into this modding for more than 1-2 weeks, but I have used BallOfFire's mod list as my template. Havn't installed every singel mod in his scrollabel loading order list, but around 90% of them.

 

I suspect the overhaul mods to cause the problem(?). I'm using OOO 1.32RC3, and I am quite certain I have every file needed, including the latest hotfix. I also use the same fransesco files, and MMM's except some optional plug-ins and Bob's armory as BallOfFire's mod list. FCOM mods for compability of all the mayor overhaul mods are also in there.

 

The message I recieve after the desktop crash is the standard Microsoft windows- some unexpected problems occured and the program had to shut down, then you have the option to send or not send a report to Ms.

 

The system I run is a 2.2 Ghz dual core AMD, 1GB ram, 512 MB nvidia gForce 7600 gs (or something like that). I'm a bit short on disk space, but more free diskspace than the minimum recommended.

 

Anyone else who have a similar problem, or have used BallOfFire's list as a guide and ran into some crash problems?

 

In addition to this problem, my character starts to continuously cast a spell. Looks like purple/pink/red circles around my character and every NPC. This disappears when I turn of Supreme Magicka. The only other spesific magicka mod I (think I) use is Midas spells.

If i where u...i would simply uninstall every mod....then install each one and test the game after trying each one.....and in time u will find the pomblem also readmeas are important..read them and u might find your answers:)

Afraid I had to do so, but was hoping for the longest not being forced to do it. Will take days to run through them all:o pjuuhhh! Think I will start with going through the readmeas once more.

I'm currently having the same problem. It seems FCOM is the one causing the problems (I think anyway).

 

I previously had everything running fine with OOO, FFF & MMM (no WarCry, no Bobs, no FCOM) as I'm relatively new to playing with mods I wasn't even aware that the overhauls were conflicting. As soon as I realised this, I added WarCry and FCOM to my load list, and thats when the problem began.

 

Anyway, try removing WarCry and any plug-ins which reference it (Wyre Bash will indicate problems with a nasty pink highlight), I think that will resolve the problem but can't be 100% certain yet as the crash I was getting seemed to only occur when there was something attacking or fighting with me. I also haven't bothered installing Bobs.

 

Hope this helps without the need to re-install everything (thats something I'm dreading as well!!!). As I said, this problem is one I'm "currently" having, so I can't guarentee it will resolve the crash until I get more gameplay time in.
