Mundu Posted May 24, 2016 Share Posted May 24, 2016 hi, i'm not sure about correct part of the forum, and my bad english ... i'm trying to create some simple mod to test my competences before starting a huge mod i have in my mind. i play fallout 4 in italian version, no problem with some english names coming from the mods i installed, but when i use an .esp to rename an object in CK o FO4Edit, it's the name displayed for all the languages or just for italian, or just for english? in CK i modified a .ini file to load correctly my italian version, otherwise it crashes. it's this fix also needed for FO4Edit? because some names are displayed as "Error: no strings file for Istring ID xxxxxxxx". do you suggest to use en version of fallout to prevent some issues? thx in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If I "duplicate to override" an item without changing the name, in an English version of the game will be displayed the English or the Italian name of the item? Mundu Posted May 27, 2016 Author Share Posted May 27, 2016 UP.. and new questions..1) how can i use localization to rename some object in some languages? i use the Fallout 4 italian version. if i rename somethings it will be displayed the same for every languages?what happen if i change just some values, for example of a pistol, without touching the full name? 2) I linked an effect to a message, to display it using an ingestible item. how to display some random message, not even the same? 3)how to set a chance with that ingestible to spawn an actor? some usefull tutorial in scripting?
