caligo Posted August 29, 2011 Share Posted August 29, 2011 I suppose I should start off by saying I've run mods on oblivion, FO3 and FNV, and have been playing FNV since it came out. I've tried 'em all when it comes to mods, and have a decent amount of experience in getting things to work and fixing issues. But I'm stumped. I run the latest NV patch, OBSE, FOMM, DarnUI, Project Nevada and a few equipment/weapon mods. I'm running the Steam version. I was playing yesterday, enjoying a run of good luck in the Tops at the slot machines. I decided it was time to go to bed, so I saved and quit. Tonight, I load the game up and I notice my pipboy icon in the lower left hand corner of the screen is HUGE. It's the one that results from having DarnUI or Project Nevada loaded. When you mouse over it, it tells you the version numbers of the two mods. Anyway, the pipboy icon was HUGE, then I noticed that my menu fonts were larger. I clicked on "load game" and the save file list was HUGE. I can't figure it out. I didn't change any files between last night and tonight. I tried reinstalling DarnUI, and the fonts are still huge. I'm not sure what happened. Has anyone else ever heard of this? It seems really strange and I hate to have to reinstall NV, I just had to download it again a few days ago. EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. DOH! I'm so stupid. When I reinstalled New Vegas the other day, of course I redownloaded the default .ini file. Tonight I accidentally launched the launcher, closed it, and re-launched NV with NVSE. When I launched the launcher, my .ini was overwritten and the DarnUI fonts were erased.
