R6002 -floating point support not loaded

Hello

 

Whenever i try to load Fallout New Vegas i get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error which says Program c:\progr... R6002 -floating point support not loaded.

I have tried running a registry repair, running virus scans and uninstalling and re-installing the game. None of which have helped.

My system specs are AMD Anthlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor 5600+ 2.80 GHz Ram: 2GB OS:32-Bit Vista.

I cant upload a hiJackThis Log because it says that I am not permitted sorry.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Uninstall Fallout,get the lastest updates,then reninstall fallout. THEN run it with Steam.That is,boot using the vanilla launcher NOT FOMM.
