NathanEast Posted August 31, 2011 Share Posted August 31, 2011 Here's the idea: add an item to the game called Kevlar Strip, add it as something that can be found in random treasure. Then add recipes to the workbench that require several strips of Kevlar and a type of clothing, for instance Vault Suits, Benny's Suit, White-Glove Formal Wear, etc. The result of the recipe would be a version of the clothing item with a DT somewhere in the 6-7 range, but including any bonuses that the base clothing provided. There could be armor ingredients other than Kevlar Strips, too. Deathclaw Hide would probably make a pretty spiffy armor ingredient. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
WastelandAssassin Posted August 31, 2011 Share Posted August 31, 2011 well, it was done in a different way, in one of the mods hereit's in the More Perks mod there is a perk that if you take it, it gives you recipes to make power armor versions of normal clothing, by combining a piece of clothing with 5 units of scrap metal though i really like your idea, especially if it would introduce a modified model for the armors Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
