frakle Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 so i installed Skip the fade with damodder, and it doesn't work. i don't understand. do i have to activate it or something.
edriano Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 You need to load a save game before you enter the fade in the circle tower.You can not skip Arl Eamon's Fade. Other then that I think maybe there is a conflicting mods.
Thandal Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I had StF fail on me once (in over a half-dozen playthroughs.) It's one of my Must Have mods. Any more, I chose the "Why don't you just kill yourself?" option, (skipping even the Boss Fight with Sloth) and move along. :thumbsup: So, yeah, that one time I probably had a conflicting mod, and this might be true for you as well. :confused: Let us know what other mods you have running and maybe we can help.

Using that mod, you have to do each of your team member's nightmares, and then it will let you leave.If you're trying the mod out, and think it's not working because it's still sending you to the fade, play it through a lil bit and see if it still makes you go the full course, or just the nightmares ;) Edit, its been almost a year since I played. I can't remember if you still have to kill the demon at the end or not. Kinda thinking you do, but not sure. Edited September 4, 2011 by DarkeWolf

If you say "Why don't you just kill yourself?"... he does! You get all the attribute pts, exp, and codex entries that you could have gotten from doing the actual quest, and can continue with "The Broken Circle". :thumbsup:

BlueEyedTonks Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 I just downloaded and extracted it again but its STILL not working. I went through when I saw your comment on what I'm supposed to say to the sloth but its not there :/ It always use to work perfectly but all of a sudden its not!

frakle Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 well I had it installed wrong somehow, but I fixed it. at the time I only had that one mod running. now i have 3 - the official shale mod, skip the fade, and this helmet hiding mod. thanks for help though, sorry i didn't reply
