Keirgarth
After all is said and done, yes the hand to hand combat in the game really needs some work. It would be nice to be able to take out an appropriate level mob with just hand to hand as that is the easiest way to get a combat skill up and requires no investment to start. Weighted gloves and boots might even be added to enhance the hand to hand experience.
Deleted2156094User
I'm glad you guys agree. Fist fights are the best! I would use those Unnecessary violence mods but I'm absolutely horrible at installing mods.
mindinavoid
Greetings, travelers. You wish to learn the art of the Two-Armed Warrior, do you not? Lord Zheel is both a practitioner and trainer of the art, but he is busy chasing minotaurs across the Jerall Mountains again.Rather odd, but he does these things sometimes. He'll be reading a book (he's rather fond of The Real Barenziah series, as well as the Wolf Queen stories) and suddenly slam it down and announce that a particular type of beast has "had it easy for far too long!" ...and then sprint out the door regardless of his state of dress. He did happen to leave his things behind again, this time. Including his reference materials. (Thankfully, he was at least wearing pants when he left. I only hope he still has them when he returns.) Apparently, he gets his bracers and similar fist-enhancing equipment from an enchanter by the name of Diablerie. Sometimes he even remembers to use them. They're quite expensive, though. He also had his soul strengthened by a wandering stranger known only as peoplenow. I have heard it is a bit of a double-edged fist, however. Aside from that, he's much like any other ascetic, albeit having the advantage of being trained by the great ZenshinZenrei himself in the arts of Unarmed Finesse and Deflecting Damage. Just remember, as martial artist Tom Frankly dictates, uppercuts are generally more effective than some childish 'two-fisted downward flail'. You'll break less of your own fingers and more opponents' jaws should you recall that tidbit. I hope this information comes in handy in your ascetic training. And remember: the only weapon greater than your fists is your mind. Edited September 9, 2011 by mindinavoid
Keirgarth
I will be starting my training in a few days as a little house cleaning might be in order prior to my journey :)
Nealus
I suggest you to chack Vows&CovenantsThat's not much of a hand-to-hand gameplay, but there you can roleplay a monk. Edited September 16, 2011 by Nealus
