OnyxNightBlack
Interesting topic. I am of the opinion that it's not hurting anyone when modders release revealing clothes for female and (don't be mistaken about this) male characters. My characters (male and female alike) wear masculine/feminine armor, that actually makes sense/protects, but I also admire casual, more revealing clothing on my characters when they stroll through the city or hang out at home. This is true for both genders. Don't get me wrong, I am straight, but I still think that the body of my own gender is something beautiful and I don't mind seeing it in sexy clothing. Noone is forced to download those mods or even look at them, though I have to say that male gamers have a lot more options to choose from. The only reason I could see for that is a bigger "market" or a stronger desire to actually see something revealing, especially in younger men. One thing that is of importance is a clear "adult only" tagging, like the Nexus does. Other than that: Adults can decide for themselves what to look at, download and install. Cheers, Onyx'
jojo man
why is there a moderator not on someone not labeled as a moderator and what flaming?!?Buddah has removed a statement that was in breach of forum rules. The one who made the post was deadnerzhul, and buddah replaced the rule-breaking words with his own warning. Flaming is making insulting or degrading remarks towards other members. Thanodai
Honestly, I don't mind the nudity and the skimpy outfits, actually, my doesn't either, she enjoys seeing what people can come up with. From my point of view, it's just pixels and triangles. Though I do draw the line at sex themed mods, and I don't use any companion mods as I feel they just get in the way. She enjoys playing Castlevania because of the "sexy" vampires, and I laugh every time she says that, but it's true, that's one of the biggest draws for her to those games. Personally, I find sex mods extremely offensive and I stay away from them. I agree, the skimpy outfits for females does get frustrating, but some of the armors and clothing are absolutely astounding, Blackluster and Dark Illusion come instantly to mind. But nudity for the sake of nudity goes beyond this and I do stay away from those mods. To sum it up, I like to see eyecandy when I play a game, be it the landscape, the characters or the architecture. Which is precisely why I find Oblivion such a fun game for me to play, all that eyecandy out there. Be it a retex of the IC or higher res maps for landscape or a great piece of armor. -T-
