They could have been mutated by a Mix of radiation and the Sulfurous gas. You could reuse the Overseer Ghoul skin for them.I agree. I want to finish the map first, though.Of course. You can't do anything without a map. I'm just throwing out some ideas.Speaking of ideas....I'm starting over with the earlier "flat" map. The coast is exactly the same; in fact, now that I look at it, it's easier to work with the heights in GECK.Which meant that I could have started this two or three days ago, using the "test" map... :wallbash: Though it's actually easier this way. I'm eyeballing the landmarks in any event, and it's easier when the coastline is perfectly outlined like it was before the GECK messed it up. As for the Mirelurks, I think the resources for them could be in the GECK, I know a fair share of Fallout 3 resources are in there.
