nokaigo Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Hey just got Fallout: New Vegas for the PC and was wondering as to why I am unable to download any content.... Now I am curious about the costume mods and I checked for the mods with no file requirements, I use the large green download button only to be returned to the top of the webpage. There is no loading cursor or any windows that pop up and I have nothing in my download history. As much as I hate being unable to resolve this issue on my own, could anyone offer any advice or any kind of simple computer support to assist me...please and thanks for your time.
micalov Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 After you press download butten, there should be a list of "Main Files" select one of those then the pop up should apear. If its not getting even taht far make sure you are not running IE 7 or if on IE 9 try disabling comptibility mode. If your running firefox with any script blocker try allowing nexus, something could be stopping it.
Iv000 Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Try a different web browser. There are a few problems with Chrome and IE. Try Mozzila or Opera. If you already use those and it still doesn't work, create a new topic here:http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/forum/117-feedback-suggestions-and-questions/ Also, welcome to the Nexus!
nokaigo Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 Well, It could very well be a browser issue, I'm currently on internet explorer 8 which is default from my pc. But I'll scan through some browser options, download a new web browser or two and give that a try...sigh. Well thanks for the swift response and thanks for your time. :turned:
