PrettyMurky
The hard drive is a solid-state, so I'm not sure how much of a difference sheer size-of-mod would make. Also, that would mean I'd have to download them as well...
El`derina
lol all you need to do is go to advanced search, hit search. Then make it so that the mods are organized largest first. Have fun taking down his pc, which is actually nearly indestructible to most mods. But like all armor, it can be taken down with multiple men with sharp swords. not true... multiple poor scripting in all those mods can easily crash it,.. perfermance be damned..intentional or extremely poor scripting can break it in a single mod EDIT: scratch that... you said 'most' mods >.> Edited September 6, 2011 by El`derina
AlfredTetzlaff
2,4 GHz 8 core? Not very impressive oblivion-wise ;) Will not take much to bring this one to its knees :)FCOM, Better Cities, Quarls and to make sure, RAEVWD full :)
PrettyMurky
The CPU isn't too exciting. It's the combination of fast ram and solid-state hard drive, as well as the brand new graphics cards. The CPU probably is the weakest link in the chain; so I'll try and get as many actors active at one time, as I can. As I said earler; I think a big battle in Open Better Chorrol, with extended population, and the Unique Landscapes, visible when distant, all QTP's to the limit; should hopefully have some effect. Either that or look bloody impressive! Either way, should be fun.
El`derina
well,.. only reason its weak is because oblivion isnt optimized for multicore I believe... theres ini tweaks for it i think, but that only goes so far. let us know how this goes... I really want to hear news leaning on the side of a computer croaking. Edited September 7, 2011 by El`derina
