MrHermeteeowish
I found a Yes Man wallpaper online last week, and now I want to make a Windows theme around it. Is there a way to extract his dialogue into MP3 format? On bootup: "Hi! What can I do for YOU today?" On an error message: "Baaaad robot!" etc. Also, if anyone has fallout-related icons, let me know! ita
Get FOMM.Use its BSA Browser feature and open Fallout - Voices1.bsaType yesman in the search box.Extract the dialogue sound files (they're in .ogg format).Convert the .ogg files to .mp3, .wav or whatever with a sound editor. I've heard rumours that Audacity works fine.

MrHermeteeowish
i have the adobe gear if anyone wants to send me the formats to convert. I'd like to help work on this, sounds hilarious. I extracted and renamed a bunch of great Yes Man quotes in .ogg format. Windows Themes uses .WAV, so they need to be converted to that. PM me you email and I'll send you the files!

Korodic
1920x1080 resolution, I made it look a little better w/ the windows bar at the bottom. Check your email, file is too big to show on here. The sounds are converted, but need to be applied properly. I'm looking at a way to make the sounds dynamic, and I think I have a solution in mind, When the pc starts up and the user logs in, a program will appear for a brief second. That program will switch the sounds, with different variations. I only wish I knew a little more so I could make a hidden program that makes him speak on occasion during certain events... Like answering a skype call he says hello XD Edited September 7, 2011 by Skibblets
MrHermeteeowish
The theme needs a quick, generic 'asterisk' sound that won't become incredible annoying with Yes Man's voice. What the name of the 'Activate' click sound from the game, so I can extract it?
Korodic
I don't think yes man's voice will be annoying. I created a dynamic windows theme that randomizes Yes Man's word choice per session. I'm testing it now. EDIT: tests show some GOOD results. I'll put it up to share in a little. Windows only. Works on Win7. :thumbsup:http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=44417 Edited October 16, 2011 by Skibblets
