lemonfan1
So yeah, I was thinking it'd be pretty nice if we could make our own Fast Travel marker that we could later remove and put in another location. Make we could use an item in the Aid section of our inventory which would make a small sign appear in front of us that we could place somewhere on the ground which would act as our marker. If the item is used again, we'd then have the option to remove the marker we last placed or move it to a new location. It's tiring to find a house you like, or even just trying to get to a specific casino, only to have to walk the distance of an entire town, through a couple of loading screens, just to find your room/building. I know it's possible to do, as it's been done in Real Time Settler, where you can drop a tent and then you'd have your own town marker placed. Only, rather than a tent, I'd like a small sign or something simple.
Ruadhan2300
take a look how RTS does it. it may rely on FOSE, but that's not likely to be a huge problem.once you figure out how RTS does it, you can easily make your own :P it won't be something hugely complex I'd bet. Glenstorm
I haven't done this myself yet, but I would bet you can do it simply by putting a "MapMarker" object in a worldspace. You can name it and choose whether it shows up on the map before the player has explored the area etc...

I'm still learning just how to retexture a knife. ^_^;
