  1. 1. What would make Bloodstone more unique?

    • Hand to hand battle arena
    • Gambling town
    • Vigilante guards
      0
    • New building meshes
    • None of the above
      0
    • But...but Bloodstone is already unique!

I am currently working on a project which will add a busy, open city laying in Cyrodiil's Topal Bay. The city will feature its own guard force, brawling battle arena, lighthouse and landmarks. Bloodstone is a grotty, run-down tourist destination (think of Blackpool UK with its bright lights & reputation for lack of cleanliness,) consisting mostly of shacks which you may find in Bravil and Leyawiin. Residents and visitors alike can have a drink besides the waterfront and watch as the sun goes down or visit one of Bloodstone's many stores and bars.

'Scar-tail' (some of you may remember the Argonian from the DB questline) now lives a more fulfilling life then just sitting at his camp, and will live in Bloodstone instead and is visitable even if you arnt a murderer. To those with the Vile Lair DLC, the mod is compatible with Bloodstone however i need to fix some floating objects which are activated along with it.

In time im hoping to bring in a casino theme found in Fallout:NV, but with more medieval based games obviously, the bad tempted city-run guards will lock you up in a cramped make-shift jail cell if you show any disobedience. All buildings will be illuminated and the light will reflect of the water which should bring a nice ambiance.

Leave any suggestions/support you may have

I will post more screenshots in time showing progress of the project...

It does tend to rain a lot on the bay, however when the sun sets it looks rather beautiful.

The Bloodstone lighthouse is situated away from all the buzz.

Scar-tail seems pretty happy with his new surroundings, even murderers need some eye-candy.

UPDATE

Im still making this mod despite me being disheartened because the city doesnt appear where i wanted it too with LOD etc (so you could view the city when coming over the hill,) and the fact that i built a city in the wettest part of Cyrodil which makes the city hard to see again plus pretty dull and direly (which i wanted anyway.)

I started the local guard service but haven't got them working yet because my biggest strength is exteriors (and it still takes me ages to do anything,) the city itself is basically finished i had trouble copying the arena because i needed it to be accessible without doors, but its getting there. The path towards the fort and city have been crudely drawn (the kit wont let me lay path where i want too for some reason) i just need to lower some flying rocks etc.

Killing Scar-tail when your not part of the brotherhood also completes the quest which shouldn't be happening, just need to fiddle about with the quest abit.

Feel free to come forward with suggestions or help as im not perfect at modding! Me and Skyrim dont see eye to eye so i wont be playing it till the kit comes out for that so i might be releasing the first (buggy) version soon!
