Need help with some Construction Set Issues

Hey I recently installed Oblivion and the Construction Set on my school's computers. Under the specifications of the computer admin, I had to install it to his computer, and he would install it to specified computers and block its installation on others. My problem is that when I save my mods, and select them in the launcher, none of their attributes show up in the game. Like the game acknowledges that I have the mod, and I can select it, but nothing I make shows up. What can I and/or my school's admin do to fix it?

They can change permissions to give your account the right to modify the oblivion installation folder, or install it somewhere else than Program Files.

alright, but what would i need to modify it? and where would i move it to?

Your admin has already given you permissions and account drive quota's. What needs to happen is your admin should give the ability to install the program to your local drive in someplace like C:\games or something similar. Though I would probably make sure that the location isn't going to cause issues with the game too. You will also have to have full control over the space your admin assigns you. You will want full read/write/admin privileges for the specific folders involved.

 

Another thing that might be an issue is that Oblivion doesn't have a net install option in the setup. It is possible that the installation onto his system and then onto yours has changed or not allowed something that is important for mods to work. Or it might be that the network is setup to not allow specific activities, though I would have to look at the settings the admin has in order to troubleshoot that. Every admin sets up his network a little differently depending on his knowledge and his needs.
