arrenmog
i did my self before but wondered wether it was possible to share it with other people in a way that is legal. i have decided i will continue to try and script this by numerous googles so i can share it. Sypron
In the end, the product that you produce isn't too valuable. People who have the morrowind music are capapble of moving it on their own. You could make an in-depth guide on how to do it then post that.
arrenmog
Thats a good idea, but i cant be bothered to write a guide anyway, thanks for all your help. i will continue to try and script it though.
TheTerminator2004
If you tried what I posted, and it didn't work, I just realised it's because I put forward slashes instead of backslashes  Anyway, I have Windows again now, and I'm making something of my own to backup my Oblivion mods (I'm going to use the task scheduler to make it run every time I start the computer), so I'll post it here for you, and you can just change the directories to whatever you want- it'll work just the same. TheTerminator2004
Finally, after much experimentation, I got it to work! Woohoo! Anyway, just paste this: copy C:\Progra~1\Bethes~1\Morrowind\DataFi~1\Music\Battle\* C:\Progra~1\Bethes~1\Oblivion\Data\Music\Battle copy C:\Progra~1\Bethes~1\Morrowind\DataFi~1\Music\Explore\* C:\Progra~1\Bethes~1\Oblivion\Data\Music\Explore copy C:\Progra~1\Bethes~1\Morrowind\DataFi~1\Music\Special\* C:\Progra~1\Bethes~1\Oblivion\Data\Music\Special into a new text document, change it to .bat, and if you run it, it should copy all the files to the relevant Oblivion directory. Bear in mind, you won't get any new music playing inside towns or houses. If you want it to play the Morrowind explore music in towns etc, like it did in the game, then add this line: copy C:\Progra~1\Bethes~1\Morrowind\DataFi~1\Music\Explore\* C:\Progra~1\Bethes~1\Oblivion\Data\Music\Public Hope that's what you wanted  EDIT: oh, you might want to mention in your readme that it only works if you have both Morrowind and Oblivion installed in their default locations- if they're not, you need to copy them manually. EDIT EDIT: Also, the copy command, the folder its copying, and the folder its copying to, all go on one line- it just doesn't all fit on screen at once.
