renpishi
Hello. I'm playing a male vampire character, the only mods to modify vampire I use is bottledblood, bloodwine, and my own mod to modify the age to -1000 and change the eye to Ren's eye 01.I create the character from my own save file saved before getting out of the sewer.I then change the face and make it a vampire. The problem is, everytime I load the save file, the complexion I set after he become a vampire is 1000, but it keeps coming back to -260. (I have to always move the slider back to 1000 after loading the file) Then after a while, I decided to make the character a non vampire and a female. But when I load the save file, the face become a male again, the same as when it is still a vampire and a male (still the -260 complexion). And no matter how I try to cure the vampirism, using the console or doing the quest, the character can still feed. (the weakness to fire is already removed from the active effects page) Anyone knows how to fix this problem? Sorry for my English, thank you. I hope I put this in the correct sub-forum. TheTerminator2004
You see, this is why you need to be careful fiddling about in the console. If none of that fixes it, then I doubt anything else'll be able to either... I think there might be a way to modify save games using Wrye Bash, but I don't know if it lets you edit the PC's stats, or whether it'll fix it. renpishi
Thanks for the reply. From UESPwiki:There is a bug where your facial structure resets to the default values that you got in the beginning, before Valen Dreth starts talking to you in your cell. For example, if you made your character have angry eyes with a frown and this bug occured, then your charcter won't look angry nor will he/she have the frown; it's completely reset. This bug will occur every now and then, and it's completely random. The bug however, does not alter the complexion or shadowing you gave our character in the beginning. If you gave your character blushed cheeks and "eye liner", then he/she will have that eventhough the facial structure has reset. This bug does not effect the gameplay whatsoever, but it might be a nuisance to those who want thier character to have a certain facial configuration. Could it be related to this bug? Is there a fix available?
