spoe71
Good day, all. I am curious if anyone else has had issues with this. It seems to be an issue when I load up the mod, "Awakening in the OC," as without it, I haven't had the issue yet. I have posted questions on the mod's page on the nexus site, but I think the author may be afk, so I thought I would ask here. If this is the inappropriate place for such things, please let me know and I will promptly delete my post and offer my apologies. Here's what's going on (I include a complete list of the mods I use below--all are the latest versions). Randomly, and on a character-by-character basis (meaning sometimes it affects one or more characters; other times it affects others), the game drops me from 25 tactics slots (31 with skills) down to 15. I am unsure if it has anything to do with the mods I use, but I suspect it *might* have something to do with the third specialization point that "Awakening in the OC" adds, though I am by no means technologically inclined enough to venture an educated guess, nor have I tried yet to play Origins with only using two specialization points to see if the problem arises. Additionally--this may or may not help--I seem to be having some strange issues with The Winter Forge when Awakening in the OC is enabled. Nothing gamebreaking, mind you, just small annoyances, like the cheat mode not working exactly right (for example, instead of getting the interface that allows you to freely grab reagents, I get the standard crafting interface pop up). Here are the mods I use: 1) Awakening in the OC (currently disabled -- all 31 slots show up. Haven't had the issue happen since disabling the mod)2) Unlock All 25 Tactic Slots - Compatible with Awakening (the slots disappear with or without these two files in the override folder WITH Awakening in the OC enabled).3) The Winter Forge4) Improved Atmosphere (minus the head morphs and store changes)5) Dragon Age Redesigned (on Recommended setting)6) Character Respecialization (the one with all the ravens spread out through the world)7) Paladin Specialization8) More Hairstyles9) Pretty Faces10) The Phoenix Armory for Females11) Skip the Fade12) Universal Dye Kit Any suggestions are highly appreciated. I do not have much technical knowledge with such things. Game Version: 1.04, Awakening, Warden's Keep, Return to Ostagar, Witch Hunt, Stone Prisoner, maybe a few others (I don't recall at the moment). All are paid for legally. Nothing is illegal. spoe71
Another thing I thought of is that it might be possible that some of the mods I use, including Awakening in the OC, may not have been updated for the 1.04 content. Could that cause an issue?
JackNimble
I realize this post is old, but by some chance did you ever figure out what the problem was? I'm having the same issue with the standard vanilla crafting interface popping up instead the TWF Cheat Mode interface. I'm still able to craft things but, enchants are a no-go. Anyway, here's hoping I can finally get this figured out.
