Poke Posted September 12, 2011 Share Posted September 12, 2011 (edited) I just recently finished installing Oblivion after reading a bunch of guides and just using Wyre Bash and bains to install all the mods I want. Everything seems to be working correctly, but for some reason I keep on crashing randomly. If I stay around the same area like inside the imperial city I don't seem to crash and I played for an hour without a crash, but as soon as I start walking around the waterfront district or switch between exterior and interior frequently I CTD every few minutes. Is there anything I should do to stabilize a pretty modded oblivion game? My FPS is pretty good using streamline. I do notice there seems to be an occasional half a second pause depending on where I'm walking and I think it happens whenever oblivion has to load something, but can't be sure since when I reload and run around the same area again I don't CTD.I tried disabling OSR and OBGE and still get the crashes so don't think they're causing the issue. Also I have an issue with a blood and mud characters like Captain Ansol in Anvil who have pathing issues. They are swimming in the water in the dock.
