Simple Home request

Okay... so yes there are a fair few beautiful, elaborate and creative homes and abodes out there... But To date I cant find an appropriate structure for what I had in mind...

Usually, the bigger, fancier houses more suitable for companion abode are well decorated to a point of hindering FPS, while there's nothing wrong with a well decorated house, it would be good to keep my companions together without too much lag... so here's my proposal

Start by Imagining the area around the tree in Chorrol (but placed somewhere else in the world...) but with these buildings in place instead,

masters home, where the player eats, sleeps, bathes, stocks and whatever else you can think of...

Companion Hotel, self explanatory... perhaps with showers or relaxing pool area... or dining area!!

Inn, where you and your companions can unwind, drink, sing, dance and bar fight...

Training area, simple stuff like ranged target, dummies, fenced off dirt ring (for sparring) and maybe some tents or something...

Farm & stable, for horses and stuff... extra storage maybe?

any more Ideas will be greatly appreciated... there's no need to create new meshes, so it should be a fairly simple mod on the construction set (I'd do it myself but i've been having some major problems with my PC and the CS lately... and it could be a while before i sort it out...

Please get back to me

You do have the resources - the construction set is FREE and you will not need anything not already in the game for your basic set of buildings. You will use building blocks that are already there and available in the CS and will not have to create any new meshes or textures at all. (you can learn that part of modding later if you want)

Note: I would call this an estate rather than a 'Simple' home request.

Find a house you like and use the CS to copy it. The inside size does not have to match the outside size as insides are separate world spaces, and can be much larger than the outside if you want. Think of the door as a portal to the new world space and not as just a dividing panel between two spaces that are together. You create the outside completely separately from the inside.

on this current system I can't use the CS

It kind of sound like you probably have one of two problems:

(1) You use Windows Vista/Windows 7.

(2) You have an old computer with very little RAM.

If you have problem 2, I am afraid you need a computer upgrade or a whole new computer.

If you have problem 1, things are pretty simple because almost everyone has this problem and there is lots of documentation on how to fix it. The simple and best answer is that Oblivion must not be installed in C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\. The Windows security system will shoot you down. You must remove Oblivion and reinstall it to some other directory like C:\Games\Oblivion\Data\ where security is not tight. Then you must remove the CS and install it again so that it will find Oblivion in its new location.

 Im afraid its a little more superficial than that, the pc i was using has a really bad monitor and a defective mouse... it makes the careful construction in the cs really tedious and fustrating... not to mention the random CTD's i always get...
