Is there a function like ModAV for items?

For something like this sure you could use a quest variable as well. I tend to prefer global variables as they're actually separate forms whereas quest variables are just part of the scripts or something, so if you ever change the quest variable or get rid of it all of the references to it will be messed up whereas with global variables that won't happen.

 

Either way check it out it might work.
