Racial Retextures

First, let me preface this by saying that though I prefer to use full-nude mods for both males and females, it's mainly for so-called "realism" or immersion. I just can't stand the look of the default diaper/loincloths in vanilla Oblivion. Granted, nice eye-candy was a more appealing choice than simply finding a mod with better underwear, but I don't consider myself a perv or anything.

 

Okay, that out of the way. So far it seems as if the only male body replacer out there is Robert's, and from what I've seen seems to have become the 'industry standard'. Can't fault anyone for that as Robert's work is pretty dammed good.

Now for the females, there seems to be a *lot* of variety. Growlfs, Eshme, BAB, Exnem, Corwyn, and TeamFF are the main contenders. So I downloaded all of them and took a look at everything in-game, snapped screenies and compared all the bodies and textures.

So far, although there are some nitpick points on the mesh, the one I like the best is the TeamFF Fantasy Figures. The mesh is very detailed on female anatomy, and the texture skins are even more detailed and accurate. (Please see above about me not being a perv, but just wanting more realisimg and immersion)

 

So now I've got a request of sorts, but I don't know if anyone would be willing to pull it off.

I've been trying out several New Race mods: Lilmothiit, Wolven, Tabaxi, Mephitis, Slof's Clouded Leopard, and Ainmhi. These are the custom races I'd like to use in my own games, however only about half work with Robert's males, and an even smaller handful work with Robert's males and TeamFF females (Namely only the Ainmhi work for both male and female).

 

I'm gonna list what works with what, but what I was hoping for are the missing gender textures for the listed meshes.

Lilmothiit: Neither male or female textures work with Robert and/or TeamFF

Wolven: Neither male or female

Tabaxi: Males work fine with Robert's, females don't work

Mephitis: Neither males or females (not to mention the fairly poor texture quality in the original mod, no offence to the author)

Slof's Clouded Leopard: Females don't work

Ainmhi: Everything works fine here, as this race seems to basicly be Imperial bodies/textures, with Khajiit ears and tail added.

 

Anyways, if anyone would be interested and willing to take on these mods, lemme know.

I have a question: In what way is running around Cyrodiil, killing bandits and monsters, and exploring caves and ruins, completely naked, more realistic?

 

Besides, doing all those textures would be a fairly big job, so unless there's a skilled texture artist who also wants exactly the same as you (which is always a possibility I suppose), this probably isn't going to happen.
