snacktime
Sorry for the noob question - I want to use Wrye Bash/Bain for mods but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the mods to appear within Wrye Bash. I would just use OBMM but I want Francesco's and it seems that is now BAIN-only. I have successfully installed Wrye Bash and BOSS but when I put the Francescos_Creatures_and_Items.7z archive in the Bain Installer folder, that doesn't make it show up within Wrye Bash. And I don't see any refresh or other such options within Wrye Bash. I've got to believe this is some pretty dumb user error on my part but help would be appreciated, I really only want about 10 mods and it's annoying that I can't just use OBMM (which I had pretty well figured out about 2 years ago when I last played Oblivion). Thanks!
snacktime
I should also add that I am pretty confused about a lot of BAIN - I don't really know what a "package" is or how to make one, or what a "BAIN-ready" mod would be (whereas with OBMM I understood what to do with the .omod file or how to create one if it was needed). And when I go to the "Installers" tab within Wrye Bash there is nothing there and no option that seems useful. Thanks again
scrivener07
Tell me the file path you are putting Frans into. put the Francescos_Creatures_and_Items.7z archive in the Bain Installer folder This is correct. Read more on the Installers Tab here.
snacktime
I put the entire .7z file in Oblivion Mods\Bash Installers, which is a folder that I assumed BAIN created on install and was where I thought it belonged.
