can't use my modded gun

i modded a gun with the geck and when ever i pull it out (gigiddy) my game freezes and i have to ctrl alt delete out of my game. no matter what gun it is the game freezes, but i can still use modded armor.

Were you playing the game with geck opened or was the geck closed, if it was opened was your plugin (plugin = the file with your edited gun) active in the geck?

Also, what changes have you made to the gun?

it wasn't open and all i did was make a mini gun nuke launcher, a camera that shot baseballs, and a anti material rifle that shot nukes and had no spread. also i made a fatman that was orange. they all froze the game when i equiped them

also it doesnt just freeze it it crashes and it says "fnv has stopped working"

The game version can be a problem, I believe NV updates through steam so log in and check for updates.

i have auto updates and i checked and there are no updates availiable

Try deleting the camera from the plugin or changing the projectile from baseball to a normal weapon projectile and then try to equip it in-game.
