ARoaringWookie
I was wondering if there was a correct way on how to port over a mod that I like from Fallout 3 to Fallout New Vegas. I'm not going to upload it to this site, I just want it for my game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PowderdToastMan
Data or mesh and texture? More specifics and i might be of minor help
ARoaringWookie
It is the textures for Quetzlsacatanango's Vault Rejects Outfits. The meshes work just fine, but when I go into 3rd person view, the textures just go crazy and switch around.
PowderdToastMan
I know there are minor differences in the way textures function between the two games but i am not enough of an expert to fix it. It only seems to do it with some textures. Ive ported stuff over before with no problems and had others that gave me trouble too Did you use both texture sets assigned to the mesh? also, quetzl is pretty active and might even port it over for all if you send him a pm... Ygfbv
sometimes, a nif file has the texture set to a hard location... you'd probably have to do an edit to the mesh to point it in the right direction if the textures go wacky.
Quetzlsacatanango
I don't think I did that, but I guess it's possible. From memory, those use a different vault suit texture than the regular vanilla one. So if you didn't extract the textures, too, that'd be your problem.
