brbvideotapes
I downloaded OOO right.. I think. I mean, I followed the instructions and extracted it to the data folder. However, when I open up data files, or OMM, it doesn't show up, and all my other mods do. Is this normal? Did I do it right? Should I reinstall it or what? I attached a picture, btw. Thanks in advance.
Keirgarth
have you looked inside your data folder to see if there is another data folder? This happens sometimes and makes things not appear.

Keirgarth
Look into that folder and see if there is a data folder, I am guessing that you need to move the contents of the data folder in that ooo folder to the data folder in oblivion for it to work. Nope, no data folder in OOO either. Can I just delete from Oblivion's data folder and try again or is it more complicated than that?
Keirgarth
I would extract to your desktop or someplace safe. Make a folder and extract to that, then look for the data folder and copy the files from there and paste into oblivion's data folder. You should be able to delete that OOO folder and start again. Which OOO did you download anyways? Was it the omod one, the manual one or the BAIN one? Edited September 17, 2011 by Keirgarth
Keirgarth
I see you are not watching the thread now. If you downloaded the OMOD version, which is the only version I see on TESNexus right now, then you have to use OBMM to install the mod. OBMM is Oblivion Mod Manager and has ways to install mods that are simpler than worrying about copy and paste. Install OBMM, copy the OOO.omod to the OBMM\mods folder and then start OBMM. You should see OOO on the right with a green box. Double click on it and it will go through the install process and ask you questions that you need to answer. Once it is done and the box is blue you will know that the mod is installed. Exit out of OBMM and download and install BOSS if you don't already have it. Run BOSS and once it is done play your game :)
