ghostrecon123
when ever i place dead NPCs outside buildings they disappear, the dead NPCs i placed in interior cells are just fine, they're not missing or alive, how can i fix this? i think i made the dead npcs right, i set their Hp to 0 and checked no low level processing and i even tried turning on and off the persistent reference on one of the dead npcs but still no luck
WastelandAssassin
exteriors should respawn, so NP's shouldn't stay if they are dead (or at least so i believe) don't know if it's possible to place dead NPCs outside what you can try, is to have the NPC respawn, yet always be dead (i think there is an option for NPCs to show up dead, and i would suggest you look at some of the dead NPCs in the game, like the many dead wastelanders and such found in caves) also, do a little google search about this, and see if you can find some more insight on the matterit usually works for me, and it does help i just thought of another option for youif you want the player to find the NPC dead, and you don't care about the NPC disappearing after that, then you may want to do it like the sheriff in Primmmake a script that will place the NPC if the player is close, and then kill the NPC via the same script, which may result in what you are after one other option is to look at how the few dead NPCs that are found in exterior cells, to see how they are made (if they come dead, instead of just die there, which i am not sure about)i think there is one where you get the Radscorpion eggs for Bleed Me Dry, and more than one in Scorpion Gulch (near Hidden Valley)hope this helps Edited September 17, 2011 by WastelandAssassin
