KirbyFan1997
I'm attempting to make a custom radio for New Vegas and as a test I'm using five songs before putting the whole amount in. I've already encountered a problem. Each song plays twice before going on to play the next song twice, and so on. I followed this tutorial. http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/274194-tutorial-how-to-create-a-new-radio-station/ If anyone knows how to fix that, thanks, I'm new to modding and these forums. WarMachineDD7
I know this topic is old, but I thought I should answer the question so people don't struggle as much as I did trying to learn how radio stations work. WAV files are played twice because the game plays each side of the stereo track consecutively. What you can do to prevent this is to turn the WAV file into mono. Alternatively, you can make the game play MP3 files by adding braces in the Response Text (for example, {Song 1}). MP3 files can be in stereo, they only play once. If the Response Text has braces, the game will try to play an MP3 file (which can be stereo and it'll play once); if not, the game will try to play a WAV file (which has to be in mono or it'll play twice). No offense to the guy who created the tutorial you used, but he just explained how he got the radio station to work, not how they actually work.
