Shorter human race

I recently started playing a female human character, and I see that she is fairly tall. In fact, she is taller than Baurus, a male Redguard. She seems a bit too tall. Could someone make the MBP human race shorter or provide CS instructions on how to do so?

You could use the console command "player.setscale #" with a number less than 1.00 in place of "#".

For confirmation's sake, is there a way to check the current scale?
