ReInstalling Years Later

I've recently gotten the itch to play Oblivion again, given that Skyrim is just around the corner, and I've always come here to expand the game to what I think it should be through the use of mods. Back when Oblivion was permanently installed on my PC, I checked this site every day for additions and updates, but now, I'm so far behind that I can't even figure out where to start.

OBSE and Wyre Bash are givens, but if you guys could help me come up with a "Must Have"s list, that would streamline the process for me and I could spend less time sifting through all the categories and more time playing the game.

What I'm interested in:

Graphical/Physics/Engine overhuals - Things like Liquid Water, hi-res textures, weather effects.

New/Expanded game mechanics - Unnecessary Violence is a good example. Also Dynamic Leveled Lists. A mod that let's you climb walls?

Integrated locations - There was a mod I loved that added special locations, seamlessly into the game, can't remember what it was.

Immersion Mods - Immersive Interiors is a good example of this.

And really, anything that makes the game more "real." Looks real, in that textures and models look authentic. Plays real, in that the mechanics feel less "game-like" and more rational, allowing more ways to do the same thing. Feels real.

One thing I'm not interested in are nude mods, sex patches or DD-Cup models. I don't want see-through armor or a raging erection all the time. Completely breaks immersion. Who goes into combat with their "business" out?

So, if you who have kept up with the community could give me some insight, I would appreciate that so much.

I'm also not a friend of overmodding the system, but there are so much things to do.

If hardware isn't the problem try this, because not your PC is the problem, but the oblivion game, cause it is a little bit older than your PC and the new mods take a lot of room. Unique Landscapes are great and nearly a musthave

now first my suggest for a new body

As a Body mod I would prefer a HGEC body nude (female), (male) because tons of clothing are based on this mod.
