how to organize your mod

ok im new on this forum but not new on oblivion game first thing first

after you downloaded all the mods make a new directory on D: or C directory make a new folder

rename it mod paste it on your oblivion game

in that folder every of your oblivion mod should have its own folder

for example

Rens_hairpack v1.2

in that folder makesure you ogranize it propely or else you have to uninstall all the mods

make a backup file on the esp. file on oblivion this will make it easier to delete all the mods

and it makes your job easier to spot the mods

anyway if you tired of uninstalling the game and install it again backup is the solution

always make backup file to spot the mod so you can detect the unnecessary file you wish to delete

I understand yhe need to organize the mods but i thought you had to intall most mods to the oblivion/data folder in order for them to work?

Im really new to mods so this may be a dumb statement

what i mean is erlier you need to organize the mod after you finished organzing the files

start patching up your game up 1.2 now after you patch "please instert the cd"! uh whats wrong with that

now go to these links and download no Cd/dvd patches

go on www.gamecopyworld.com or www.gameburnworld.com

makesure your purchase the game in full version

if you cant find the perfect no cd dvd patch

go search on gameburnworld

this however update you game but it has couple of glitches but in this way i think patching the game without installation can be fixed

so in order to make mod work you need the latest patch to make the mod appear on your game

to launch a mod you need oblivion mod manager which is some mod requier omod installation

some mod requires manual installation which is drag and drop file

the esp. is the current file type

if you currently download one mod you dont know what the heck is that i suggest

you go download winrar to unpack the file

run the oblivion data launcher and target the mod on data option

enjoy using them ^^

What the HELL are you talking about, oblivionpirate? What he was asking was about something you completely failed to mention in your 'FAQ', was where to install mods- something I thought was fairly useful to know. What he was NOT asking was 'Where can I get a crack for Oblivion?', which seems to be what the first part of your answer is about... the second part is also completely wrong- you do not need Oblivion mod manager to play a mod... at least, that's what it sounds like you're saying- it is very hard to be 100% sure when your grammar's worse than my two year old sister's.

ncusack: Read this pinned thread, that explains how to install mods. oblivionpirate, you should read that too, as you clearly don't have a clue what you're talking about.
