Really annoyed. Can't enter REPCONN facility.

I can't enter the REPCONN facility (or most other buildings) When I do I get a fallout has stopped responding error from windows.

I've been plagued with constant stupid problems since I reinstalled and started playing FONV again.

They don't seem to be mod related either. I have a fresh install of windows and some new hardware etc etc.

I first had a low-fi texture problem, then awful performance issues, and now I get a CTD when entering certain buildings.

I have tried everything. Uninstalling the game, reinstalling. Changing video drivers. Removing all mods. Adding MORE mods. Disabling features. Turning settings up. Turning them down. Disabling autosave.... it goes on.

Whatever I try I can't get the game to work properly at all.

 

What really irritates me however, is that no less than 3 months ago I could play new vegas flawlessly on a lower end system with about 40 or so mods. I'm now ridding myself of ALL mods and DLC and I can't enter various interior buildings without the game crashing. Please help, where do I start to look to fix this problem???

Perhaps an answer lies within that statement. A place to begin, eh?

 

What I would do is post system specific information, such as one sees in my tag line.

If this 'lower end system ' you mention worked fine and your now having issues with some undetailed newer system perhaps the

core issue is something related to hardware on this newer system.

 

So, you can't even hope for help without proper details mentioned.
