garnth
So I was a long time happy FOMM user, and had about 80 mods working successfully all installed through FOMM. I stopped playing fo a while after OWB, but kept everything installed, and decided to start it up again now that Lonesome Road is out. I fired up FOMM to update some mods before playing, and I noticed something weird. FOMM creates a package fine using the package manager, but when I activate the mod, no files are copied to the fallout data directory. FOMM creates directories where misc files should go, but looking in them, they're empty, and no esps were put into the data dir. Checked the crash log, and it was empty. This only seems to happen with some mods. For example, aHud works fine, but GrenadeHotkey does nothing. Both are distributed as FOMODs. Additionally, I added a new mod (Female Power armor) from a zip file, and when trying to activate it, I get the following error: "The requested file does not exist in the archive. (Meshes\LD\Female Power Armor\adpowerarmor.nif) The mod was not installed.". On a hunch, I expanded the file and created a FOMOD from the folder (rather than the zip file) and everything worked fine, no errors, and files were copied. It seems like FOMM has lost the ability to read compressed files or something. Has anyone else encountered this, or have any suggestions? Also, some other stuff in case it comes upYes, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling FOMMYes, I'm running FOMM as administratorFallout is up to date, and I am using nvseSystem is Windows 7 64bitFNV is installed in C:\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\ rather than in program filesFallout itself runs finePlease help, I'm sort of out of ideas.
