jihadoftomorrow
I played for a few hours and decided to finish the Imperial Arena. I played a few matches, stopped playing, then played again. When I finally got to Grand Champion and went out, my game would crash in 2 seconds.I guess the arena doesnt count as an exterior cell since I've never crash while in a match. I installed a few mods in between play times but those mods don't seem to be the problem. Any idea? EDIT Okay, I tried making a new character and going outside and my game doesn't crash. Hopefully that information will help solve the problem Edited September 24, 2011 by jihadoftomorrow
Caithe
When you get out of arena or when you go outside anywhere? Try to type coc wilderness in the console. Maybe something is affecting the adoring fan, since he's the first person you meet when going out as grand champion and he initiate chat automatically if my memories are right. If doing coc wilderness works, I would look for any mod that affect the arena district and/or the adoring fan. I even coc'd to other interior cells like the Mages' Guild in Bruma or Fighter's Guild in Skingrad, doesn't crash there.
shinobi2008
I'm not sure if this is relevant to your case but how far are you into your game? Meaning what level is your character, how many hours passed in the game etc etc and what is your save number? I'm asking this because I experienced random crashes recently playing a moderately modded Oblivion (no expansion packs) and so I was searching for solution on the forum. I did not find any but seems that when your save number gets high into 300 or so the game starts to get errors and start corrupting the saves. I don't know if this is going to work for you... this is what I did today. I downloaded this: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=22910 and reset the save number to lower numbers. I know I know Wrye Bash can do that also but I decided to use this anyway. So far the random crashes stopped for me. Like I said, it would be different for you depending on how many mods you have installed etc etc and I probably have to do more extensive playing but so far I'm okay. P.S My rig is more than enough to handle this game so it seems the hardware is not the issue here. It's either Win 7 or the game itself I think. :wallbash:
