DarthNeodeus
I've finished Lonesome Road with a maxed out character, all SPECIAL attributes set to 10. I prevented another armageddon, and back to the Mojave, gained fame from the Followers and the Brotherhood, and a 1 SPECIAL point reward. So, I'm stuck on the "add SPECIAL points" menu. Of course, I tried to lower one SPECIAL attribute through the console, using "player.modav luck 9" for exemple, so it could do the trick... But no way, I still have 10 points everywhere and can't even exit the menu ! Is there any way to reduce one of my SPECIAL attribute efficiently, or simply pass that menu through a console command ? Thanks in advance...
Sunnie
You can't mod your stats while you are looking at the special UI. You will need to load your last save game, mod a stat down before that rewarded point triggers.
DarthNeodeus
I tried ! Even if I load a previous save before the ending, and use the console to lower an attribute, all my SPECIALs still remain to 10. This is why I'm so stuck on that menu... Sunnie
Drop a single stat to 4 or 5, you can always put it back later.
cptcairney
download the cheat terminal from the nexus, coc from your last save game(hopefully you have one befoe you go up the lift) modify a stat to be 9. coc back to Ulysses's temple.might need help with the console commands, unluckily had the same problem but made a save before you enter the lift. Also when using modpca X Y you need to put -1 for e.g. to lower the value. console commands are the best route out of this problem if you know how to use em correctly ;)

cptcairney
I know what you mean, you need cheat terminal trust me had the exact same problem where is your last save ?Also try downloading the companion ext and entry for lonesome road, used this when re entering, then fast mapped to the temple with my charisma set at 9, using the cheat terminal, you need to use it a couple of times, until you see your stat showing 10+ as f ts being buffed to that stat, then lower it again to get 9, noticed using the cheat terminal when putting stats to 10 put them over it to negate the effects of certain armors. DarthNeodeus
FINALLY !!! After vainly trying to change my SPECIAL values by any means possible , I finally got through this by closing the menu through the console. I simply had to type "cam" (CloseAllMenus) to solve it !So, even if they didn't help me that much, thanks for all your advices ! saintgrimm92
Another possible way(for people with the problem looking at this page in the future), is to reload the autosave it keeps, itll be right b4 ur fight with ulyssus or w/e and type in player.setav INSTEAD OF MODAV. using modav, its still 10, even if u look at ur stats on ur pipboy, if you use setav, it will change it. for example I put in "player.setav endurance 3" dont ask me how, but this dropped my endurance from 10 to 6(instead of 3). and let me finish the quest Edited April 19, 2013 by saintgrimm92
