Modders Resourse

Hi All

Need a little help. Have down loaded Meos_Booksets_28521, as a modders resourse. I have tride all sorts to install them but to no avail. Can some kind Person please help me by telling me what to do or point me in the direction of a tuts. I have tride folowing Meo's Read me.Quote== Extract to your oblivion\data directory and add as statics or as containers in the CS Dont understand the last bit thats Under lined. I have archive invalidation instaled thats the exe version.

CS = Construction Set but I think you really need a good beginner's tutorial. TES Alliance has the best in my opinion.

 

But for what it's worth ;) to add a new static:

 

- Navigate to eg. Static\Clutter in the Object Window of the CS

- Right-click on any object listed and select 'New'

- Enter in a Form ID at the top of the dialog, something sensible that you will remember.

- Click on 'Add NIF File' and navigate to where you extracted Meo's resource, select it.

 

You now have a new static that you can use in your mod.

The CS is the Construction Set that is used to make new mods. It is a separate program available FREE at Beth Soft's site.

 

A Modders resource is not a playable mod. it is something that someone making a mod can use in their mod. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif

 

To use the resource, you must create a new mod of some sort using the CS and then you can use the CS to place the resource in your mod. Then the mod is installed into the game.
