iFSS
The file properties don't have a details tab like this? Is your windows user account set up to be an administrator (check in Control Panel -> User accounts)? Did you install Fallout 3 to the Program Files folder, or outside of it? If you installed to the Program Files folder, uninstall it, and install it to the root of your hard drive (eg C:\Fallout 3\) instead. Windows' crappy attempt at privilege elevation, UAC, causes odd problems if Fallout is installed in the Program Files folder. * edit - And after re-installing to C:\Fallout 3\, don't apply any patches. Get the file version from the details tab - if it says 1.7.0.3, try launching the game via the latest FOSE, if no joy - contact the FOSE team with the contents of fose.log and fose_loader.log . (Make sure you have double-checked the [ Troubleshooting / FAQ ] section here first: http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8606) Edited September 27, 2011 by iFSS
