NPC help?

I need to buy some stuff from Stonewall Shields, but I killed the owner and now his body's gone. How do I get him back without the resurrect command?

the only way I can think of is "player.PlaceAtMe ViatorAccius 1 (or player.PlaceAtMe 00015E9F 1)". He should go about his business, and I'm pretty sure have access to the old one's bartering items. However, for anything that would check for the "real" Viator Accius, he'll still be treated as dead. (For example, he won't have the "Imperial City" topic all citizens have their own dialogue for.)

Load an earlier save.

haha lesson learned. only kill someone if you think you can bring them back from the dead with a few keystrokes.

You may find that using the "kill first ask questions latter" is not the best way to play OB....but then for some maybe not. I think that there are certain character NPC's that should not die and the player should get caught and sent to jail say for killing a merchant......But then this would ruin the open ended nature of the game. I have found NPC's I needed for a quest to be dead when I reached there location and had to resurrect them, but I think that there are certain actions that a player takes that should not be able to change such as killing a merchant..but then I am just an old guy.
