mastrlynk
Hey, I just got Fallout 3 for PC, and for some reason, it's been crashing nearly non-stop. I was on my way to the Museum of Technology to get the radar dish, and all throughout the game would continuously crash on me. I've tried all the fixes I could find, but none seem to work. Including the dual core copy-paste thing. Please help. BigMacDk
I had the luck of playing GOTY with all the DLC on a dual core 2.0 with no crashing what so ever. Now like most others I have, in my case, a lappy with i5 quad, and I cant for the life of me get the game to work with out crashing every 5 mins, and I tryied for a week with all sorts of fixes I could find, can only say good luck, some find a fix, I still didnt, thegame is just way to unstable for new machines from what I gather. BigMacDk
Right, after another few days, or maybe a week, going back through, with kudos to a fewdedicated experts, managed to get the game running and I belive it was the quad corefix. you can read about the fix here http://www.sevenforums.com/gaming/20199-fallout-3-windows-7-w-quad-core.html Its a simple edit, might help you aswell, there are other tweeks out there includinga tweek that makes the game able to use more than 2GB ram (3GB loader) Hope you get it to work, Cheerio, BMD
mastrlynk
I tried that multiple times, to no avail. I'll look into the RAM thing though. Maybe that'll help.
