Hiding the default hand for equipped hand-to-hand weapons

Hello all, I have a quick question in regards to custom armor and certain hand-to-hand weapons.

With some weapons (Spiked Knuckles for example), if you equip the weapon while wearing certain custom armor that has hands/gloves built into them, you'll still get the default right hand showing up overlapping your custom hand or glove. I'm just wondering how to setup the armor so that the default right hand disappears and only the custom hand or gloves shows up at all times. If anyone knows how to do this, I'd appreciate some info. To be clear, the default hands are not underneath the gloves, the gloves completely replace the hands in this case so it isn't an issue of the gloves not being large enough to cover them.

Here's a screenshot of two weapons in game to show what I mean. The Black SpecOps Knife (a modded knife on the Nexus) is showing up properly where the custom hands are the only thing visible, whereas the Spiked Knuckles (and other knuckle weapons), suddenly incorporate the default right hand and give that weird overlap. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yup, I second that. You may observe this by wearing any power armor and equipping brass knuckles or spiked knuckles. Right glove is then removed and all you get is bare hand with a weapon. There is no clipping because most armors have a form list containing separate gloves - left is replaced with pipboy glove when armor is worn by player, and right is replaced by unarmed weapon. You may see it even on Stealth Suit.

In case of your armor there are no separate gloves and no formlist, whole thing is made as one part. So when you equip an unarmed weapon the bare hand is displayed simultaneously with armor's glove. You may, of course, edit the weapon mesh in NifSkope, remove the hand and use the mesh as the replacer, but as a result you'll get a floating brass knuckles and a hollow tube of a forearm when not wearing that particular one-piece armor.
