quick suggestion to help endorsements.

I really don't like how you have to wait 3 hours to endorse a file, and by the time that limit is up, most people forget about that file. so I suggest a message system that notifies a user of files that they downloaded that they have yet to endorse.

 

it will be like: you have downloaded "so and so mod" and you have yet to endorse it. what do you think of this mod? if you like it, why don't you go give it a thumbs up and endorse it.

 

this will help a lot of modders with their endorsements. for example, Liquid Water has 275 or so endorsements, yet it has 18K unique downloads. I think the major cause of this is laziness and forgetfulness. so I suggest a simple reminder for those who forget to endorse a file they downloaded.

 

Tell me what you think of this. this suggestion could greatly improve the rating system that The Nexus currently has.

Part of the problem, and I think the reason for the wait is that there are a number of people that endorse a mod simply because the description is to their liking or because they have just downloaded the mod.

 

How can you properly endorse a mod unless you have actually loaded it into your game and played with it a little to see if it is well done, looks nice etc? This is likely the reason for the wait.
