TheToeBighter98
I'm trying to use this mod properly, but I ended up with invisible prison shirts! I followed the instruction.txt closely and moved the data folder into oblivion, I did edit the original folder for the average body type, average tails, new heads and animations. As far as I know I followed the insturctions properly. Here is my load order, I am using OBMM, WryeBash, ScriptExtender and BOSS: Oblivion.esmAll Natural Base.esmFrancesco's Leveled Creatures-Items Mod.esmFrancesco's Optional New Items Add-On.esmOpen Cities Resources.esmKvatch Rebuilt.esmUnofficial Oblivion Patch.espDLCShiveringIsles.espUnofficial Shivering Isles Patch.espNatural_Habitat_by_Max_Tael.espAll Natural.espAll Natural - SI.espAll Natural - Real Lights.espWindowLightingSystem.espFrancesco's Optional Files.esp300 Regal Imperial City 2.espKvatch Rebuilt.espOCC-KR-Patch.espKvatch Rebuilt Weather Patch.espKnights.espKnights - Unofficial Patch.espOCC-KOTN-Patch.espOpen Cities New Sheoth.espOpen Cities Classic.espNatural_Vegetation_by_Max_Tael.espEVE_ShiveringIslesEasterEggs.espspelliconreplace.espFrancesco's 10 days respawn time - 1-20 day lenght rescale.espBashed Patch, 0.esp I am sure that this mod conflicts with male clothes, as I reinstalled a backup copy before I installed the mod and clothes appeared normally. DrakeTheDragon
You're totally right. Body mods conflict with Vanilla clothing and/or armor items big time, as those simply undo the body mods' effects on your body while wearing them. Items in Oblivion include the body meshes they're meant to be worn over, thus replace the ones you're having when nude while wearing them. However, the skin textures wrapped around those body meshes are defined by the plugin of the body mods, so it's their textures, but now on Vanilla bodies when wearing Vanilla items. This does not work. When using a body mod (any body mod) you will also need the so-called Stock Clothing And Armor Replacers for said body mod, replacing the offending files from the Vanilla game or common overhauls/DLCs with ones including the correct body meshes.Don't listen too much to people telling you wearing Vanilla items with body mods is fine, it's just causing some weird texture effects on exposed bodyparts which are neglectable in most cases. That's simply not true. It will cause much bigger issues soon at some point. The disappearing body parts is common for Robert's Male when this is the case. You will also get pink or invisible bodies on "custom" races when they don't provide Vanilla body textures as well, which some of them just don't as they're specifically made for certain body mods. TheToeBighter98
Thanks for the info, found it very insightful! I followed your advice in finding a body patch, and found plenty to fill my time with until I find the right combination. Hopefully this will also make skeletons reappear. EDIT: Well the patches did fix the clothes, though the body type changed to muscular, and removed the loin cloth so the characters now resemble G I Joe's. DOUBLE EDIT: Ok I've managed to fix things for myself and am satisfied now with bodies, thanks to the single poster who helped though I didn't need much for this issue.
