Kilani
I am one of the countless numbers of people who loved a lot of the models from Fallout 3 and its addons over those of New Vegas, especially the power armor. I currently own Fallout 3 And all its addons, and would like to use the textures of some of the armor found in the DLC, I do not plan on posting any of it, but I would like to know how to import textures from the Fallout 3 BSA to the NVA version of the GECK, I have tried directly copying the BSA files but upon attempting to import NONE of the files will transfer properly, and do not allow for editing, I only got the GECK for the express purpose of adding the Tribal Power Armor to New Vegas, for my own personal use, if anyone could help me out with this I would love you forever. EDIT: I am extremely new to modding, I have no clue what I'm doing, try and explain it to me like I'm an idiot please :3 Edited September 27, 2011 by Kilani
WastelandAssassin
well, you could get the Requiem For Capital Wasteland mod, which allows you to travel from New Vegas to the Capital Wasteland (yep, it combines Fallout 3 with New Vegas) or, you could try extracting the required items from the BSA archives, copy them to your New Vegas folder, re-set the paths of the textures in the models using NifSkope, then re-create said items via the GECKit's quite a lot of work, especially if you don't know what you are doing, so you may want to read about how to use each program before you try anything (also keep back-ups, just in case)
