Question regarding CCC and OMOD

Hi everyone,

 

I just downloaded the CCC 1.7 complete edition and wondered if I can install it with the oblivion mod manager and in case I can how?

Of corse you can do it with obmm, but it is a little more work than usual. At first you open CCC_complete_v1_7 put the files togethter with Split and unpack the so created folder. In this way you get the folder structure. Now do the decisions you have to make depending on the male race you use and delete the esp you don't need. Then add the optional files you want and put them to the right place.

 

At last start obmm, go to create omod, import folder and chose your created folder. Take a name for the omod and start. Go having a coffee or whatever you prefer, cause it will take time.

Whats Split? Some sort of software? Where do I get it from? :P

yes and no

 

after you have downloaded the three parts of the CCC-file you will find ...7z.001, ...7z.002 and ...7z.003 and you have to put them together. Only the first file can be opend regular. You can handle it like this or use a slitting/joining software like this or this, if you like it better or any other software you might google. :thumbsup:

 

Edit: most you need from CCC you find in 0Core folder.

Bain is soo much eaiser for installing CCC than trying to OMOD it. and its a very gentle learning curve.
