Tattoo parlor

I'm not a modder but I've been thinking that it would be cool if a (or more) tattoo parlor was placed in Goodneighbour or something, instead of getting a body texture with tattoos for your character.
So you would be able to choose from several different tattoos that can be placed all over the body. :)
There would be an NPC that acts as the tattoo artist, and maybe even put in a feature that requires you to schedule/book your tattoo?

Anyone working on that?

Tattoos work by replacing the face/body/hand texture used - not just by your character, but by everyone.

 

This is why we have mods like Body Framework and Unique Player/Followers.

 

To pull a mod like this off, you'd need to first choose one of these mods to use as a Requirement.

 

Then you will need Photoshop with the DDS plugin to make your tattoos.

 

After that, all you need to do is put it in the Looksmenu - unless you want it to ONLY show tattoos. In which case you'd have to basically figure out how to create an entirely new looksmenu that is limited to just that, similar to how hair works. Speaking for myself, I have no idea how you would do that, or if you even could.

 

Seems like something potentially involving a great deal more effort than something as simple as the Looks Mirror with a few new tats, for very little reward.
