Randomly attacked by guards.

So I was bored the other day and ended up killing a guard or two in Mournhold, mostly to get their "Her Majesty's" armor. I just took the armor back home, and am not currently wearing it. It seems like now whenever I go to Mournhold, along with at least some other places, the guards will attack me. I've paid the theives guild in Balmora to take the bounty off, so I'm not sure why I'm still being attacked.

It's odd, the guards in Mournhold were attacking me, and apparently I can jump high enough that they put away their swords and start walking away. Then I come down, and occasionally they'll give me the "Pay gold/resist arrest/go to jail" dialog instead of just whacking me with their sword again. It's always a 40 gold fine, and even if I pay it, they immediately start beating on me anyway.

Is there something that's triggering this? It's going to be kind of annoying if I can't solve this, I'm nowhere near done the game (picked it back up after a couple years hiatus in anticipation of Skyrim), and I'd rather not have to constantly worry about guards deciding to kill me.

edit// lol just realized this is my first post, many years after joining.

I did read about a console command, for the normal Indoril armour. I don't know if this also works for Her Hand armour. There might be some slightly different variable names.

The following console commands can be used on the PC to stop Ordinators from attacking you after you've spoken to them while wearing Indoril Armor. It will not prevent attacks if they see you wearing it again, and it may not prevent attacks from Ordinators with unique IDs.

"Ordinator Stationary"->SetDisposition 80

"Ordinator Stationary"->StopCombat Player

"Ordinator Stationary"->Setfight 10

"Ordinator Wander"->SetDisposition 80

"Ordinator Wander"->StopCombat Player

"Ordinator Wander"->Setfight 10

Set WearingOrdinatorUni to 0
