OmegaMan1
Hi All, I am on a PC and have an issue when i do the Ghosttown Gunfight quest in Goodsprings at the start i kill all the Powder Gangers, but Ringo and the rest tell me there is more and the quest does not complete, so i searched everywhere on the immediate area and there is none. So i checked the web and this is a known bug and to fix it I have to "spawn" a powder ganger. Can anyone tell me how to do this? As in what the exact line of code is, as I have tried it numberous times and can not get anything to work. Thanks in advance for your helps. Crosshare
placeatme X should work, just need the ID to replace X with, which you can get from ingame by grabbing a savegame and console clicking a pwder ganger. Make sure you've killed http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Joe_Cobb as he is a chicken and will run :D So, to get the powder ganger; - Load sasve wit fight on.- Press console key (§ for me, might be different).- Click on a powder ganger.- Get ID on top of screen.- Load the save with the bug(after fight).- type placeatme id here- Kill powder ganger, win game, supreme commander of univerrse. OmegaMan1
Awesome!! Thanks, will try that out! OmegaMan1 Edit - I tried it out and i know i am missing something because this is what i get when i click on the ganger for number "Powder Ganger" (00104c70) and then when i click the numbers it changes to "" 00106b5e I have tried placeatme in those combinations, alone, together, with a space between, but it keeps coming back invalid id, or other errors and there is no respawn. If the numbers are as mentioned above can you write the line down, as i am sure it is something small...I just want to get past this :) Thanks, OM1 PS - I successfully resurrectted them, but this did not change anything, i need to "spawn" a new powder ganger, which confuses why the number above would work, because it seems this number is unqiue to each powder ganger(each number is different) and not the same for all, if that makes sense. Anyways, you guys are the experts :) Edited September 30, 2011 by OmegaMan1
Crosshare
Hmm. Yeah, doesn't seem to work with those pesky powder gangers. I can't think of another solution outside resetting the quest. resetquest 00104eae or simply complete the quest with completequest No idea on the consequences, but someone else might have an idea on how to spawn those pesky powders. OmegaMan1
Ya, i tried both restarting and completeing and no success. Completeing after the battle keeps the town "waiting" for more mobs still, so interaction with the town is limited, which i don't want. Restarting causing the same issue. Not sure what to do at this point, guess i continue on and hope someone finds a solution.

OmegaMan1
Bumping...in hopes there is someone with a solution out there. OM Does anyone know which file in the game would affect this? I reinstalled the majority of it and have the exact same thing happening after reinstalling 432 files. Could a mod affect this quest in someway to make it glitch like this? AWOP? BOE? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, OM1 Edited October 4, 2011 by OmegaMan1
