Dicktation
Oblivion mod manager will not work for me, no matter what I try, so I was wondering if there was a way to install OMOD files without using that wretched program? Thanks.
WastelandAssassin
i'm not quite sure that's possible, while keeping them in OMOD format are you sure that OBMM won't work for you??have you tried to find out what the problem is?? anyhow, if you really can't install OBMM, and you want to install an OMOD file, just right click on the file, choose rename, change the extension from omod to rar or 7z, and treat it like a normal archiveas far as i know, this should work just fine but i would really recommend you to try and fix OBMM, as it's truly essential for running Oblivion with mods

WastelandAssassin
do you have OBSE??i think it requires it, and that may cause the problem you should check the OBMM page, to see if you've done everything right and don't mention it, i'm always glad to help

Timber57
Oh, that does that to me all the time, "not responding". Just give it a little time and OBMM will start working to finish what is was doing like creating a new mod or close and start oblivion.exe. I think the "not responding" is just like 'Windows' busy hourglass just telling you in computer language like in Star Trek language of Vger ..."working"! P.S. Omod stands for Oblivion Mod used only by OBMM, correct? Edited November 25, 2011 by Timber57
