Kimnokmar
Ok so normally I'm a pretty self sufficient guy. I google, watch/read tutorials, and play around with things till I understand how to do what I'm trying to do, but this time I have hit a brick wall. I have been trying to convert this mod http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35234&navtag=file/images.php?id=35234&tab=3 to Fallout New Vegas. I import the mesh into blender, then I export it as a Fallout 3 mesh, and everything seems to work. I can lode it into the GECK all the textures show up, but when I get it into the game, and equip it the blade dose some funny things. First the part of the blade that's meant to be see thru is black, and second the blade its self fallows the camera always facing you in the same way a sprite dose. If anyone can help me please let me know what to do! ThanksKimnokmar
Quetzlsacatanango
Compare it to an existing vanilla weapon and make sure all the shader flags match.
Kimnokmar
Compare it to an existing vanilla weapon and make sure all the shader flags match. Ok I'm not 100% on how to do this but Ill try. Will this also get rid of the moving blade issue?
Quetzlsacatanango
I'm not sure what you mean by that but I'm sure it won't hurt. Attached is a screen of where you're looking. Weapons should have BSFadeNodes at the top. Then look at all their nitristrips/nitrishapes, and find the bsshaderpplightingpropertyOpen the dropdown on shader flags and make sure your weapon matches vanilla weapons. First I wan to say thank you for uploading the screen shot that was unbelievably helpful! Ok I looked them up, and all the shaders are the same. So that's not the issue.
